This page is written in plain English to describe what data PotterLandia collects and how it is used. It is not legal advice.
Who we are
PotterLandia is a farmland and rural-land marketplace. This policy covers the website at https://potterlandia.ctonew.app.
What we collect and why
We collect only the information below, and only for the purposes described. We do not sell your personal information.
| Where | What we collect | Where it is stored |
|---|
| Submit a listing | Land type, title, description, asking price, acreage, county, state, and a contact email or phone number. | A local file (src/server/submissions/submissions.json) on the site’s server. |
| Go Professional waitlist | Name, email, role, and company (optional). | A local file (src/server/waitlist/waitlist.json) on the site’s server. |
| Automatically | Server access logs (including IP addresses) and, only if you opt in, Meta-pixel tracking. See our cookie notice. | Standard web-server logs and your own browser storage. |
How we use it
- To review and (if approved) display listings you submit, and to contact you about them.
- To hold your place on the Go Professional waitlist and email you when it is ready.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site (server logs).
- Only with your consent, to measure our advertising via the Meta pixel.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Form submissions are stored as plain JSON files on our server. We keep them as long as needed to provide the service (for example, while a listing is being reviewed). You can ask us to review or delete your submission at any time by emailing hello@potterlandia.com.
Cookies, tracking, and the Meta pixel
We load a Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you decline, it is not loaded. We store your choice in your browser’s localStorage so we do not re-ask on every visit. Full details, including how to opt out, are in our cookie & tracking notice.
Third parties
- Stripe processes Go Professional payments. We do not store your card details.
- Google Fonts loads our typefaces; your browser requests those files from Google’s servers.
- Wikimedia Commons & Flickr host the photography shown on the site; your browser loads those images from their servers.
- Meta (Facebook) receives standard pixel data if you consent to tracking.
Service-worker cache
The site is installable as a progressive web app. Your browser may cache site files locally (a service worker) so pages load faster. This cache is stored on your device and can be cleared through your browser settings.
Your choices
- Accept or decline the Meta pixel in the cookie banner at any time.
- Opt out of Meta ad personalization at facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.
- Email us to review or delete a submission.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the limited data we store, but no method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
